Did you know that in Earthbound LightsPhotography Tips it says that it’s okay to buy your camera gear online as long as you do your homework. Some places to review are BizRate.com, Shopping.com and even Amazon.com. To find this go under "Shopping for Camera Gear: Is it Safe to Buy Online?" under Earthbound Light Photography Tips.
This website was another one of my favorites. It had a lot of different galleries. Most of the galleries were of wildlife and animals. I liked the “Beyond the Northwest” gallery the most out of all of them. The pictures of the flowers were some of my favorites. Another gallery that really caught my eye was the Yellowstone and the Grand Teton gallery. It had a lot of pictures of hot springs, rainbows, mountains, and streams in it. this is my favorite website because it has links to a lot of really really really pretty pictures! http://www.earthboundlight.com/portfolio.html I also like how it has a photo tip of the week on the website and I think that’s it is very helpful and useful.
Top 10 List of Most Popular PhotoTip Articles of the Year. I learned about a unique camera strap called the Op/Tech Pro Strap, it acts as a shock absorber to make carrying heavy gear more comfortable. Also available are end connectors for fastening to cameras in tight connection points. Both are very secure.
I like how they do a sort of debate on which is better, calibrating or profiling. http://www.earthboundlight.com/phototips/calibrating-versus-profiling.html
I looked at the wildlife animals, and it was cool how close the picture got to the animal, how the lens' looked so good without getting blurry because there is no way you can get that close to all those animals.
This site had to be one of my favorites because it taught me how Shadow/Highlight adjustment in Photoshop brings out shadow detail, tone down reflective highlight glare and make other common tonal adjustments in an easier way.
One article in their archives has a list of excellent locations for nature shoots, with a short description of that area. Olympic National Park, Mount St. Helens, and Gifford Pinchot in National Forest are a few places they recommended. Several books by noted photographers were also suggested, which all detailed their natural settings they preferred for photography.
This has to be one of my favorite websites because of all the different information it has on the website. One thing I found that was interesting was the Nikon D3X camera. The Nikon D3X camera has flagship 24.5- megapixel FX Format D-SLR and it costs 7,999.95! That's crazy!

Under "Photo Tips", there is an interesting section called "Lensbaby" which is a company in Portland, Oregon that makes lenses that bend for your camera. This allows you to "have creative contol of where the plane of focus lies, meaning you can decide what will be in focus and what won't."
If adjusting an image by playing with sliders has never felt very natural to you, you will likely appreciate the new Targeted Adjustment Tool (TAT) in Adobe Camera Raw 5.2. ACR 5.2 is a free upgrade to Photoshop CS4 or Elements versions 6 or 7. If the Adobe Updater hasn't automatically found it for you yet, you can download it yourself from Adobe's website for both Windows and Mac OS. Unfortunately for Elements users, the Targeted Adjusted Tool works in real Photoshop only.
This site gives you alot of new modern info on cameras and photography!
The Targeted Adjustment Tool (TAT) was first developed as part of Lightroom so some of you may already be familiar with it. It allows you to make adjustments to portions of an image as defined by their common tonality or hue and lets you do so without touching the standard adjustment sliders. Very cool.
I like this website just because it shows you different and interesting pictures from the portfolio and most likely because there are a lot you can learn in it such as using the computer dark room.

I learned about many techniques about nature and in the features it showed many different pictures of plants and flowers which looked nothing alike.
